The Jacques Company was founded in 1980 by Don Jacques who was quickly joined by his wife, Jan. Their goal is to give the best service possible to their clients whether buyers, sellers, investors, or tenants using their combined experience of over 90 years in the Springfield market.

After starting out with a larger company in Springfield, Don opened The
Jacques Company in 1980. His property management department started with a heart to take care of a few missionary friends' houses as they embarked on career missionary work that took them out of the country for years at a time. He wanted them to have homes to come back to when they were ready to retire. And so began the business of managing real estate investments.

Jan concentrates on providing excellent service and successful selling and buying experiences for clients. Most often, her clients become her friends.

Kathy Austin
Kathy is the first person you will see when you visit The Jacques Company. She oversees the front office and does the hard work of screening applications to find the best tenants. She also walks the tenants through the move-in and move-out process.
